Dwell L’abel began as a simple idea - a high quality clothing brand centered around a need to take time and dwell in the present.
We live in a milieu of phone notifications, fast fashion, and other fleeting distractions - boiled down to the old expression “out with the old, in with the new.” Simply put - it’s exhausting.
Our pieces are designed as modern takes on classic fashion - for a wardrobe you can wear today, or in ten years. We believe true luxury lies in taking time to be present and intentional with decisions - and here lies the aesthetics of our pieces. Comfortable yet stylish. Small details that don’t scream for attention. Made with purpose, and worn with the conscious hope that we don’t have to swim in the madness of modern life.
In essence, we seek to promote a lifestyle that embodies rest, long walks, and enjoying the beauty of creation. The daily grind can be a thoughtful journey - and that’s ok.
We’ve even adopted the idea of rest into our very website itself - our website doesn’t work on Sundays by intention.
Slow down, put away the phone, and take time to experience the good things of this life. A book, coffee with a new friend, writing that short story you’ve put off, or simply lying under a tree to watch it dance in the wind.
Rest. Breathe. Dwell.
A Note from our Founder
For years, I’ve dreamed of launching a clothing brand centered on faith and intention. The idea for Dwell L’abel came to me in 2021 when God highlighted the word "Dwell" while I was reading Psalm 27: “One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek: That I may DWELL in the house of the Lord all the days of my life.” Learning to dwell with God through life’s ups and downs has brought me rest and empowerment. This concept of dwelling—a slice of heaven on earth—was the inspiration behind the creation of Dwell L’abel.
With Dwell L’abel, I am dedicated to breaking the cycle of hustle culture. Our company emphasizes the importance of rest, honoring the Sabbath and being “closed on Sunday,” a practice that is often overlooked in today’s fast-paced society. God established the Sabbath for our benefit, which is why our website does not process orders on Sundays.
The Sabbath should be a source of blessing rather than a burden. At Dwell, our clothing serves as reminders to embrace mindfulness and prioritize rest. My hope is that when you wear our brand, it inspires you to slow down—rest, breathe, and dwell!
Blessings,
Ryan Palmer
